Mercury Climbing

Mercury Climbing

Wow! We’ve finally recovered from our first ever music festival, and what an amazing event it was. Thank you to everyone who came down and supported us and made it so special.

The week kicked off style when The Lathums played a beautifully intimate acoustic set at Stockport’s newest independent bar The Cracked Actor, before playing their sold out show at The Hatworks later that evening.

The week only got better from there, with Fuzzy Sun and Average Sex performing to another sold out crowd at St Marys Church. And to round off the weekend we had music legend Tim Burgess bring his Vinyl Adventures Record Fair to Stockport Market before Mark Radcliffe played with his new electronic outfit Une.

The rest of the week didn’t disappoint either, with Kashmere, Dirty Laces, The Panamas, Derailer, all wowing crowds across the Old Town before Argh Kid brought Remedy to a stand still with a blistering performance that saw him literally bouncing off the walls!

The whole experience was amazing for us, and it was so good to see people embrace something new in our home town of Stockport. It was also great to see people use Heard to share their experiences, see what what going on, and even re-connect with a few old friends.

We’ll definitely be doing more events, as it’s a great way to promote Heard and bring people together, and we be back in Stockport next year with a bang! Watch this space.
